I was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. My family moved to Palo Alto, California, when I was five. I now live in Southern California with my husband and various creatures. A butterfly lives on the outer two planks of our backyard deck.

The ability to change one’s perception through knowledge, self-awareness and a willingness to alter personal attitudes fascinates me. I have had unexplainable experiences with something I call ‘other’. I am an enthusiastic reader. The three aspects of life I value most are love, learning and, of course, laughter.
